Shelley Hyland

Shelley started dancing at Kindergarten and trained through Hobart Dance Academy and Kinetic Dance Studio.

Shelley still teaches and choreographs many of the classes across most studios, and oversees the team of teachers at RDC, including her own daughter Kahli.

Debbie Wilks

Founder

Debbie trained at Hobart Dance Academy and Kinetic Dance Studio, and taught at Glenorchy YMCA and Kinetic Dance Studio.

The RDC family lost Deb as a friend, mentor and family member in 2024. Her legacy is strong within the dance community and the school she built with Shelley. Debbie influenced so many lives over 35 years with Rhythmic. Her daughter, Ciara continues her legacy teaching many of the students and next generations.

“I have so many great memories from my childhood dancing days and have had the privilege of running a successful dance school since 1989. I love teaching children and adults. I enjoy seeing the children develop into great dancers who grow up into confident adults and who make everlasting friendships.”
